PLAN DESIGN SERVICES
To ensure that the plan we design is right, we consider:

  • how much the plan should cost
  • how to achieve the greatest tax savings
  • who should participate?
  • how benefits can be tailored to meet client objectives
  • applicable pension law

INSTALLATION SERVICES
To ensure that the plan is installed in the most efficient and convenient manner, we

  • work with our attorneys on plan documents
  • provide announcements for the participants
  • prepare I.R.S. approval forms.

ANNUAL ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES
To assure that the plan remains on the right course, we

  • remind those involved when it is time to bring the plan documents up-to-date
  • compute new benefit levels each year
  • conduct employee seminars as appropriate
  • provide actuarial services
  • determine and maintain individual participant account records
  • prepare I.R.S., D.O.L. and P.B.G.C. reporting forms
  • prepare benefit statements for each participant
  • process participant terminations and retirements
  • provide information as required
  • consult with those involved on matters of plan operation.
We continue to monitor the plan to ensure its ongoing effectiveness. This includes reviewing new legislation, IRS regulations and rulings, and court decisions.

Bill Black has been in the pension administration business for over 25 years. As president he is responsible for the marketing efforts of the firm and assists producers nationally with the sale of plans.

Bill has a B.A. from Rollins College in Business Administration and Economics, is a CLU, ChFC, Life and Qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), and fifteen time Court of the Table and fifteen time Top of the Table qualifier. Bill brings that unique and necessary combination to the marketing effort. He is comfortable with the explanation of complex ideas and able to put them into easily understood concepts, with the ability to sell.

Having spoken nationally and internationally on the topics of qualified plans, Bill is a much sought after speaker. He is certified to teach continuing education to CPA’s and insurance professionals. Additionally, he has had numerous articles published in industry journals and has been featured on radio programs that address financial planning matters.

Licensed in 43 states, we are truly a national practice. Bill has marketed and administered plans in virtually every state in the union.

Ken is an actuary with over a decade of experience in the administration of small to medium-sized defined benefit plans and excels in the design of plans for professionals and the closely held business. These plans are designed for maximum tax benefit and wealth accumulation, while adhering to the strict letter and spirit of the law. He is able to explain complex concepts in simple terms to both clients and advisors alike.

He has been responsible for the design, development and full administration of qualified plans, whether defined benefit or defined contribution. He is a member of the American Academy of Actuaries, American Society of Pension Actuaries and an Enrolled Actuary with the Joint Board for the Enrollment of Actuaries. He brings the competence, skill and depth to ensure all plans are prepared and maintained in a competent and compliant format.
